WHY SPRAY PAINT?
There numerous of advantages of professionally spray painting furniture. The finish that we can achieve in our controlled environment, with our professional spray guns and materials the finish we provide is much more hard-wearing than painting can deliver, has better coverage, doesn’t suffer from brush marks and, due to our paint booth, is free from imperfections and impurities such as dust or hair, plus getting a great finish takes time and patience.
FURNITURE WE CAN SPRAY PAINT
We can paint almost any item to the same high standards. Here are some examples of items that we can spray paint: furniture and household items including kitchen units, internal and external doors, chairs, tables, wardrobes, wicker items, garden furniture, picture and mirror frames, plant pots, shelving, book cases, bed frames, coffee tables, desks, sideboards, radiators, speaker cabinets, work tops, reception desks, point of sale fixtures and fittings, shop fronts, computer and storage units, window frames and more, whether for your living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, or business.
The benefits of the preparation and spray painting methods and materials that we use means that we can paint items constructed from metal, wood, plastic, glass, MDF and more.
MDF SPRAY PAINTING
As MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) is sold as a raw material product, it is generally used for furniture construction, such as built-in wardrobes and shelves. Cutting, shaping, routing and sanding MDF can leave the material porous and ‘furry’. As a result, a perfect paint finish is very difficult to achieve whether applied by aerosol, roller or brush.
We have developed a technique of sealing and priming MDF to create a base on which to apply the spray painted finish, ensuring the end results are free from imperfections and panel edges have the same high quality finish as the rest of the item.
RANGE OF COLOURS
There are virtually no limits when it comes to selecting a colour for you item. We can colour-match industry-standard colour ranges such as RAL, Colour Trend, British Standard (BS), and also match our colours to those from paint companies such as Farrow & Ball.
PAINT FINISHES
Once a colour has been selected, we can finish your furniture in a wide range of finishes, ranging from full gloss, to satin, to full-matt. Using a combination of finishes results in a dramatic look. For example, masking off solid wood sections and spray painting other sections can create a bespoke and unique look.
